National News: Manish Sisodia said that the proposed law of the Center is welcome but incomplete. If a minister or chief minister goes to jail in a false case, then the officer and chief who arrested him should also be punished. He said that if a leader or a common citizen is sent to jail on false charges and is later acquitted, then the officers and leaders who made false allegations should also be sent to jail.

Sisodia said that it is very important to rein in those who misuse autocratic power. If such people are not punished, the arrogance of power will turn them into Ravana, and democracy will weaken.

Mention of misuse of ED-CBI

He said that ED and CBI have already been misused. Similarly, this law can also be misused. Therefore, the law should be brought in a complete and balanced manner.

Justice upon being proven innocent

Sisodia said that if any chief minister, prime minister, or minister is proved innocent, then the same action should be taken against those who sent him to jail as would be taken against the real culprit.

Ordinary citizens also have the right

He said that this law should not be limited to ministers only. Thousands of innocent people are languishing in the country's jails due to false cases. They will get justice only when those who file false cases are also punished.

Power and responsibility in democracy

Sisodia wrote on Twitter that it is important for the government to have power, but it should also have the same responsibility. Only if those who file false cases are punished will democracy be strengthened and the public's trust remain intact.
